About the role:
We are seeking either an experienced Plaster Technician/Technologist or someone eager to commence a Traineeship in a rewarding healthcare career.
The Plaster Technicians manage and treat numerous musculoskeletal injuries using casts, splints and braces.
They deliver excellent patient care in our outpatient clinics and inpatient ward areas across Western Health.
This is an extremely rewarding and meaningful role helping patients on a daily basis.
Key responsibilities:
Apply and remove casts, splints, and braces.
Work alongside doctors, nurses, and allied health staff.
Deliver excellent patient care in outpatient and inpatient ward settings.
Maintain a safe, efficient, and professional clinical environment.
Qualifications
Experience as a Plaster Technicianorwillingness to learn.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Calm under pressure with a patient-focused attitude.
