As our Junior Designer, you'll play an integral role in bringing our collections to life, supporting the Senior Designer and the broader Design team to research, develop and design products that resonate with the Country Road customer.

How You Will Contribute
SupportSeniorDesigner to design a product range aligned to the brandcreative productstrategy set by theHead of Design ,aligned to the option plan, price points, margintargetsand trade insights
Research projects including emerging trendandinspirationbased on customer segmentation, creative productstrategyand brand direction
SupportSeniorDesigner to conceptualise and sketch the range; develop and maintenance of all range documents
Complete thoroughand detailedproduct briefing specifications forvendors(including technical and construction specifications)
Prepare and collate relevant samples and documentation for key meetingsas requested
Collaborate with Pod partnerson product range(Buying, Tech Design,Planning and PD)
Evaluate range performance by assessing weekly sales reports and attending trade meetings, taking learnings into future actions
Adhere to company timetable and critical path to ensure delivery into stores is on time.
Capabilities we value
Diploma or degree qualification inDesign
Previousexperience or equivalent in aJuniordesign role
Experience working with local andoff-shorevendors
Proventrack recordof designing & developing commercially successful product ranges
Strong communicationskills, with the ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively within a team setting
Proven teamwork and collaboration abilities, thriving in dynamic and fast-paced settings




Genuine interest in Womenswear, paired with creative flair and a passion for innovative design
Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality outcomes in all tasks
Exceptional organisational skills, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines
Strong CAD (Adobe) and Excel skills
Effective problem-solving abilities,demonstratingresourcefulness and critical thinking.
