The Senior Project Officer, Intelligence, Data and Reporting is responsible for planning, leading and undertaking complex intelligence, data and reporting projects to identify high-risk activities, premises, entities and emerging trends across tobacco and e-cigarette regulation.
The role assists the Manager, Centre Operations by developing intelligence-informed operational insights,



risk indicators and performance reporting to support business planning, priority setting, targeting, quality assurance and the continual improvement of CRE's intelligence-led and risk-based operating model.
This role works closely with other Senior Project Officers across the Centre and contributes to the coordination of briefing materials, governance processes and regulatory activities within a complex and rapid-paced government environment.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
Experience in data or intelligence environment, with an understanding of information sharing protocols and restrictions.
Proven ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic setting, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly, reprioritise tasks and respond to changing operational priorities.
Experience in a regulatory or law enforcement operating environment.
Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive issues and Senior Project Officer matters.
The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
A growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development.




The ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment and contribute positively to team outcomes.
Experience working within a government, regulatory or compliance environment would be highly regarded.
