The Team
The Deloraine District Hospital is a 20-bed Acute care facility that includes Palliative Care and General Medical Care.
The Hospital coordinates the delivery of a broad range of community and allied services within the Meander Valley.

The Role
Coordinating, managing, leading and supervising allocated undergraduates' students of rural nursing, paramedical and allied health professionals.
Ensuring all students are supervised in practice according to the requirements of the professional registration body and workplace guidelines.
Collaborating with local health care organisations in providing guidance and support for rostering of students during PEP.
You will need (Up to 3 bullet points)
Demonstrated high level relevant clinical experience, knowledge and skills with the ability to apply educational principles to motivate students and staff and promote learning and teaching outcomes in healthcare settings.
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills including the ability to coordinate learning and teaching of undergraduate health care students in both team and individual working environments.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to the environment and development of quality improvement and nursing research strategies in the practice environment, which supports the implementation of effective change management strategies.

Details of appointment
Fixed term part time, day worker position, working up to8 hours per fortnight, commencing 21st October *********st dec ****
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
$109, 767 to $115, 813 per annum (Pro rata).
Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement ****.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type

You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Rural Professional Development Allowance of an additional salary allowance of 4%

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

Holds or is working towards relevant Post Graduate qualifications
