We are seeking a Special Education Teacher with a passion for teaching students with additional needs, to join our community in teaching Stage 1.
This is a casual position, with a temporary short-term 6 week arrangement available for the right candidate (for the 19th October *********th November ****, in Term 4).
This role presents an excellent prospect for teachers seeking short-term employment, recent graduates looking to gain specialist experience, or experienced educators seeking a flexible teaching assignment.
Valley Hope Christian School
is a special school providing Christian Education for students with a mild to moderate level of intellectual delay or Autism in Year 1 to Year 12.

Valley Hope Christian School is located near Yamba (in Townsend) on the far north coast of NSW and is part of the Pacific Group of ten Christian schools, with six of these schools located in regional NSW.
Valley Hope Christian School is located on the same site as Pacific Valley Christian School and has its own Principal but shares facilities.

Desired Skills and Experience
It is desired that all applicants will possess:
Specific interest in teaching Stage 1 within a special education setting
A willingness to teach across all Key Learning Areas
Experience working with students with a disability is desirable but not essential
Successful applicants will demonstrate:
