The Statewide Infant Screening – Hearing (SWISH) Program has a permanent part-time Administration Officer Level 3 position available for 20 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be required to work 3 days per week.
They must be able to work every Monday.
The other two days may be negotiable depending on service requirements.
This could also potentially be a job share role.

Where you'll be working
: Royal North Shore Hospital.
What you'll be doing
: Approximately 1-2 in every **** babies will be born with a permanent hearing loss.
The aim of the State-Wide Infant Screening-Hearing (SWISH) program is to screen all newborn infants for hearing loss in their first few days of life prior to discharge home from their birth hospital.
The position supports the SWISH Manager in operational tasks and procedures to ensure that the program meets its key performance indicators.
The Administrative Officer will provide timely and accurate administrative/transactional services for members of the SWISH team under direction of the Manager.
The Administrative Officer will work under broad supervision but will be required to take some independent action.
Scope exists for exercising initiative in the application of established work practices and procedures.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
Demonstrates ability to prioritise, troubleshoot and meet deadlines.
Experience in the use of database creation and maintenance, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, Internet and email.
Willingness to learn to use the applications and systems used within the health system.
