About the role
The Women's & Children's Division of Western Health invites application from specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist covering Maternity's leave.
Position with limited (12 month) tenure Maternity cover 30/11/2026 till 28/11/2027.

Opportunities exist within the service for development of special interest areas e.g. Safety and Quality and Medical Education.
The Western Health Women's & Children's Division prides itself on providing excellent care in a genuinely team-oriented environment, working as teams with midwifery and nursing professionals, newborn and MFM colleagues, gynae oncology, Urogynaecology and advanced laparoscopic surgeons as well as allied health and operational staff.
About you
Medical qualification - FRANZCOG
Current Australian medical registration with AHPRA
Relevant clinical experience and clinical competence required for level of position
Experience in the support and supervision of Junior Medical Staff
Demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women's prison located in Ravenhall.
