What you will do
As Contract Officer, you will support the contract management team with important contracts and records.
You will help ensure contracts meet government rules, agreed outcomes and performance measures.
You will:
support
high-value
contracts by tracking spend, expiry dates and performance
maintain
accurate
contract records and procurement system data
prepare
clear
reports using finance and procurement systems
support contract plans, changes, invoices and other contract documents
work with suppliers and staff to resolve issues and support contract outcomes.
About you
A relevant tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain, commerce, law or business administration is highly desirable.
Experience or understanding of government procurement and policies is also highly desirable.
You should also have:
contract change control
skills, including raising changes and updating contracts
contract performance
skills, including tracking KPIs and supporting invoice management
systems expertise
, with the ability to use key systems and reporting tools independently
supplier management
skills, including working with suppliers to deliver agreed outcomes.
