About the Role
MCHF is seeking an experienced and proactive leader to join the College as Campus Facilities Manager on a part-time basis. Reporting to the Deputy Principal – Operations, this leadership role is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day management of the College's facilities, buildings, grounds, and assets.
This is a key leadership role focused on ensuring the College's physical environment is compliant, sustainable and supportive of contemporary teaching and learning. The Campus Facilities Manager will lead facilities operations, manage maintenance programs and contractors, assist with capital works projects.
About You
You are a highly organised and solutions-focused facilities leader with extensive experience managing complex facilities, infrastructure and maintenance operations.
You are a strategic thinker who can balance long-term planning with operational delivery, build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure projects and services are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, development and continuous improvement of the College's facilities and infrastructure.
Provide expert advice to the Principal and Executive Team on facilities, infrastructure and property matters.
Lead the planning, procurement and delivery of capital works, refurbishments and facilities improvement projects.
Oversee the day-to-day management of buildings, grounds and infrastructure.
Develop and manage preventative and reactive maintenance programs to ensure facilities remain safe, functional and fit for purpose.
Oversee the management of contractors,



consultants and facilities service providers including cleaning, security and grounds maintenance.
Lead and develop the facilities and maintenance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, building regulations, environmental requirements and statutory obligations.
Develop and maintain asset management, risk management and sustainability initiatives that support the College's long-term strategic priorities.

Skills and Experience
Demonstrated leadership experience in facilities, property, infrastructure or asset management roles.
Proven experience delivering capital works, refurbishment and infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of facilities management, maintenance planning, contractor management and asset lifecycle management.
Sound understanding of WHS legislation, risk management and compliance requirements.
Strong financial and budget management skills with the ability to identify efficiencies and deliver value for money.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities and drive continuous improvement.
