About the role:
As a
Service Advisor/Receptionist
, you are the face of the service department, the person customers trust to keep them informed, comfortable, and confident every step of the way.
Your day-to-day will include:
Greeting customers at the service desk and managing their vehicles through the workshop process from booking to delivery
Keeping customers updated on vehicle progress so they always feel looked after, not left wondering
Coordinating with technicians and the back office team to make sure jobs are completed accurately and on time
Processing invoices, managing job cards, and handling a range of administration tasks that keep the department running efficiently
Identifying additional service needs and presenting them to customers in a clear, honest way that builds long-term trust
Contributing to a team environment where good communication and shared accountability make everyone's work easier
About You:
You are someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and can manage a busy environment without losing attention to detail.
More about you:
Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within automotive, hospitality, or another service-oriented industry
Strong communication skills that allow you to explain technical information clearly and confidently




Comfortable using computer systems for scheduling, invoicing, or customer management
A current and valid driver's licence
Reliable, organised, and able to manage competing priorities without things falling through the cracks
A genuine interest in vehicles or the automotive industry is a real advantage
