OVERVIEW Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking an International Student Mobility Officer to join the International and Business Development team within the Chancellery Division.
This ongoing full-time position supports QUT's student mobility program through application processing, credit arrangement coordination, student support, and engagement activities.
The role is based at Gardens Point in Australia with hybrid work options available.
QUT is a globally focused Australian university known for its practical, real-world approach to teaching and research.
The International team contributes to the university's global engagement strategy by supporting partnerships, communications, promotions, and international student growth.
Key responsibilities
Support QUT's student mobility program through processing study applications and credit arrangements
Assist students with enquiries and provide accurate information and support
Participate in promotional activities related to international student mobility
Provide an interface with QUT administration
Deliver presentations and contribute to meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Liaise with a diverse range of clients to provide advice and resolve issues
Maintain website and email template content
Prioritise competing tasks and manage deadlines effectively
Use corporate computer systems to input, access, and extract data
Collaborate effectively within the International Relations team
Work independently with minimal supervision when required
Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
Support equity, diversity, and Indigenous Australian engagement initiatives
Requirements
Completion of a degree,
or an associate diploma with at least two years of subsequent relevant work experience
Demonstrated verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Experience delivering presentations and contributing to stakeholder meetings
Experience providing accurate advice and resolving problems for diverse clients
Experience maintaining website and email template content
Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Ability to use large corporate computer systems for data input, access, and extraction
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to contribute to process improvement initiatives
