About the Role Join a field-based crew completing bridge maintenance, repairs and general civil construction activities across the regional transport network.
This is a hands-on outdoor role suited to someone with construction experience who is comfortable travelling, working overtime and staying away from home when required.

Living away from home required Key Responsibilities Complete bridge maintenance and repair works Perform general civil construction and labouring duties Assist with timber, steel and concrete works Use hand tools, power tools and small plant Load and move materials and equipment Support concreting and basic structural repairs Complete site preparation and clean-up Follow traffic management requirements Complete equipment and pre-start checks Follow WHS and safe work procedures Participate in toolbox and pre-start meetings Travel to regional worksites as required About You Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence Current Construction White Card Construction or civil experience preferred Bridge or road maintenance experience advantageous Traffic Control ticket or willingness to obtain Comfortable with physical outdoor work Confident using basic tools and equipment Willing to work overtime when required Able to travel and stay away from home Safety-focused and reliable Able to work effectively within a crew Working at Heights or plant tickets advantageous Able to complete and pass police and reference checks Valid Australian working rights required - no visa sponsorship available Application Process Due to the high volume of applications and the limited submission timeframe, we may not be able to contact all applicants.
