As a Credit Analyst, you will play a key role in assessing, structuring and recommending lending opportunities across a portfolio of established and emerging commercial customers.
You will work closely with Relationship Managers to support customers through various stages of their growth journey, providing quality credit analysis and risk assessment while helping deliver tailored banking solutions.
The portfolio is characterised by ambitious, high-growth businesses operating across a broad range of industries, alongside a significant concentration of property investment, development and construction-related customers.
This provides the opportunity to gain exposure to complex commercial lending structures and a wide variety of business models.
Key Responsibilities Analyse and assess commercial lending applications across a portfolio of customers with borrowing requirements between $1 million and $10 million.
Prepare detailed credit submissions, including financial analysis, risk assessment, industry analysis and facility structuring recommendations.
Partner closely with Relationship Managers to support customer acquisition, portfolio growth and retention strategies.
Undertake annual reviews, covenant monitoring and ongoing portfolio management activities.
Evaluate the financial performance and growth strategies of high-growth trading businesses across multiple sectors.
Assess and structure lending opportunities for property investors, developers and commercial property customers.
Identify key risks and mitigants through analysis of financial statements, cash flow performance, security positions and management capability.
Maintain a strong understanding of market conditions, industry trends and credit policy requirements.




Contribute to a high-performance team culture focused on delivering exceptional customer outcomes while maintaining sound risk management practices.
About You You will have: 2 - 3 years of Experience in a financial services, debt advisory, equipment finance, home lending, commercial banking, business banking, or credit analysis.
Strong financial analysis and credit writing skills.
Experience assessing trading businesses, including working capital, cash flow and expansion funding requirements.
Exposure to commercial property lending, property investment or property development transactions.
The ability to interpret financial statements and identify key business performance drivers.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with relationship managers and customers.
Commercial acumen and an interest in supporting ambitious businesses through periods of growth.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business or a related discipline (preferred).
