We are seeking an experienced and solutions-focused System Analyst to support and improve the technology systems underpinning our travel and tourism operations.
Position: System Analyst (Full-time) Annual Salary: $*****-$***** The key responsibilities of the role will include Analysing and improving business processes and technology workflows across travel, tour, reservation and ticketing operations.
Gathering and documenting business and system requirements and translating them into functional and technical specifications.
Supporting systems used for airline reservations, ticketing, tour bookings, customer management, accounting, reporting and related travel operations.
Working with GDS, airline, booking, CRM, accounting and other travel-industry technology platforms and third-party providers.
Investigating system issues, analysing root causes and coordinating with vendors and service providers to implement effective solutions.
Supporting system configuration, integration, upgrades, testing, implementation and ongoing maintenance.
Conducting user acceptance testing and validating system changes before deployment.
Analysing business data and preparing reports and dashboards to assist management with operational and strategic decision-making.
Identifying opportunities for process automation, system integration and reduction of manual processes.
Supporting data migration and ensuring the accuracy, integrity and consistency of information across business systems.
Maintaining system documentation, process maps, functional specifications,



user guides and technical procedures.
Assisting with system security, user access controls, data protection and appropriate management of business information.
Providing system guidance and technical assistance to staff and supporting users in the effective use of business applications.
Researching emerging technologies and recommending systems and solutions suitable for the company's travel and tourism operations.
Assisting management with technology planning, system selection, vendor assessment and implementation of new systems.
Ensuring system processes and improvements support the operational and compliance requirements of an IATA-accredited travel business.
Performing other system analysis, technology improvement and business systems duties reasonably required by the company.
The successful candidate will work closely with management and operational teams to analyse business requirements, optimise existing systems, support system integrations and identify technology solutions that improve efficiency, data accuracy, customer service and business performance.
Required Skills Strong knowledge of business process modelling, workflow analysis and systems documentation.
Experience working with database systems, SQL and data analysis.
Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, data interfaces and third-party software platforms.
Experience with system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), troubleshooting and implementation of system changes.
Ability to analyse system performance, identify issues and conduct root-cause analysis.
Robust understanding of data integrity, data security, user access controls and information management.
