HR/HC Drivers - Road Crew | Forbes NSW Forbes, NSW | Casual/Ongoing Opportunities | Immediate Opportunities We are looking for: 1 x HC Driver 1 x HR/MR Driver These are hands-on roles combining driving with general road crew and labouring duties.
You will be working alongside the crew and assisting with road maintenance and surfacing activities, so we're looking for candidates who are happy to get out of the truck and get involved.
About the role Your duties may include: Operating HR/HC vehicles and transporting materials/equipment Assisting with road maintenance and surfacing works General labouring and manual handling Supporting asphalt and road crews on site Following site and traffic management procedures Completing vehicle and equipment pre-start checks Maintaining a strong focus on safety at all times Working Away During the busy season, approximately 50% of the work may be away from Forbes , so applicants must be willing and available to travel for work.
When working away: All accommodation is paid for by Downer Breakfast, lunch, dinner and incidental allowances are paid for each away shift in the following pay week What we're looking for Current MR, HR or HC Driver Licence ,



depending on the position Previous heavy vehicle driving experience Willingness to undertake labouring and physical duties Flexibility to work away from home when required Reliable, well-presented and able to work as part of a team Strong commitment to workplace health and safety Ability to pass daily breath testing prior to shift Willingness to undergo random drug and alcohol testing This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a varied role where no two days are quite the same, working across road projects throughout Forbes and surrounding regions.
