About the role At BOQ Group, we're not just supporting our business, we're helping shape its future.
As a Strategic People Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in partnering with senior leaders to deliver people strategies that enable sustainable growth, build capability, and create exceptional employee experiences across the organisation.
Working closely with General Managers and key stakeholders, you'll act as a trusted advisor, translating business priorities into practical and impactful people solutions.
You'll help leaders navigate workforce planning, organisational design, leadership development, talent strategies, culture initiatives, and change programs, ensuring our people agenda is closely aligned with business outcomes.
You'll also use data and insights to identify opportunities, influence decisions, and measure the impact of people initiatives.
This 15 Month prospect will see you work across a broad and meaningful remit where your thinking, influence, and expertise will have real visibility.
You'll partner with leaders who are committed to creating high-performing teams, and you'll have the chance to shape initiatives that impact thousands of employees across the Group.
What makes this role particularly exciting is the opportunity to do strategic work in an organisation that genuinely values people.
At BOQ Group, we're small enough to care and large enough to make a difference.
You'll enjoy the ability to build strong relationships, influence decision-making, and see the direct impact of your work, while still benefiting from the scale, complexity, and career opportunities that come with being one of Australia's leading banking groups.
We're also embracing the future of work, with a strong focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and the use of technology and AI to create better experiences for our people and customers.
If you thrive in an environment where ideas are welcomed, collaboration is encouraged, and outcomes matter, you'll feel right at home here.
About you You're a commercially minded people professional who loves partnering with leaders to solve business challenges through great people practices.
You bring experience influencing senior stakeholders and are confident balancing strategic thinking with practical execution.
You enjoy understanding what makes a business successful and can translate that understanding into talent, capability, culture, and workforce initiatives that create meaningful outcomes.

You have a strong background across areas such as talent management, organisational development, leadership capability, workforce planning, change, or people strategy.
You're comfortable navigating complexity, building credibility with leaders, and providing thoughtful guidance that helps individuals, teams, and the broader organisation perform at their best.
You're naturally curious and analytical, using data and insights to inform decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Just as importantly, you're a collaborative relationship builder who can engage, coach, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
You communicate with confidence, empathy, and authenticity, and you're passionate about creating inclusive workplaces where everyone can thrive.
Most importantly, you're excited by the opportunity to join an organisation where people genuinely matter.
You'll be motivated by the chance to shape culture, influence leaders, contribute to transformation, and help create an environment where our people can do their best work every day.
