As our team continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Human Resource Adviser to join us at our Mount Waverley office and take ownership of our people operations.
About the Role Reporting to the Directors, the Human Resource Adviser will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of human resource services across the business.
This is a hands-on, generalist role suited to someone who enjoys building practical HR processes in a growing organisation and working closely with managers and staff.
Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: Coordinating end-to-end recruitment and selection, including preparing position descriptions, advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates and onboarding new employees Providing advice and support to managers and staff on HR policies, procedures, entitlements and workplace matters Maintaining accurate employee records, contracts and HR documentation,
and administering the company's HR systems Supporting performance management processes, including probation reviews, performance appraisals and career development planning Coordinating training, induction and staff development activities across the team Assisting with remuneration reviews and advising on salary, benefits and employment conditions Ensuring HR practices comply with the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and other relevant employment legislation Supporting workplace health and safety initiatives and employee wellbeing programs Preparing HR reports and workforce data to support management decision-making About You Bachelor's degree or higher qualification At least three years' experience in a human resources or similar advisory role Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business Well-organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a growing business environment
