Transport Contract Manager - Pinkenba, QLD Circa $110,000 + Super The Company A leading provider of bulk fuel and dangerous goods transport services is seeking a Transport Contract Manager to support the efficient operation of a heavy vehicle tanker fleet.
Working within a highly regulated environment, the business delivers critical transport services across multiple customer sites, focusing on safety, compliance, operational efficiency and customer service.
The Position This role is responsible for planning, coordinating and managing heavy vehicle tanker operations, ensuring customer requirements are met safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.
You will oversee transport scheduling, driver allocation, load planning and operational execution while acting as the key point of contact between customers, drivers and internal stakeholders.
This is a hands-on operational role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, coordinating resources and managing real-time transport activities.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily transport scheduling, allocation and load planning activities Monitor fleet, driver and delivery performance throughout each shift Manage transport disruptions, delays, breakdowns and operational issues Oversee driver utilisation, fatigue management and compliance requirements Maintain Transport Management System (TMS) records and operational reporting Process driver paperwork, timesheets and transport documentation Engage with customers and provide operational updates and service information Monitor KPIs including fleet utilisation, DIFOT and operational efficiency Support safety,



compliance and Chain of Responsibility obligations About You You may currently be working as a Transport Scheduler, Allocator, Fleet Controller, Operations Coordinator or Transport Supervisor within a heavy vehicle environment.
You thrive in a fast-paced operational setting and enjoy managing multiple moving parts while maintaining a strong focus on customer service, compliance and efficiency.
