Adaptable Supportive Rewarding RURAL GENERALIST | STAWELL, VIC Position Type: Full-time Seeking a Rural Generalist - General Practitioner to provide high-quality, patient-centred care across a range of clinical settings.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with experienced medical, nursing and allied health teams to provide safe, evidence-based care and support positive patient outcomes.
The role also involves maintaining effective relationships with other healthcare providers and participating in quality improvement activities.
Essential Skills and Experience: Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia Fellowship of FRACGP or FACRRM Recent experience and relevant qualifications in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, inpatient care or another area relevant to rural generalist practice Current medical indemnity insurance Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to patient-centred care and ongoing professional development Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Current driver's licence is desirable The Role Includes:



Health assessment, diagnosis and treatment Ordering and reviewing diagnostic tests Appropriate referrals and collaboration with other healthcare providers General Practice and Urgent Care services Emergency Department and inpatient care Clinical documentation and patient education Participation in audits, accreditation and quality improvement activities Maintaining professional knowledge through continuing medical education About the Practice: The practice provides healthcare services across regional Victoria, supporting more than 250,000 people across 21 campuses and sites.
