Network Growth Acquisitions Leasehold Freehold National Role, Sydney Based Keneco is the property investment, development and management arm supporting the ongoing growth of Kennards Hire, one of Australia and New Zealand's most respected family-owned equipment hire businesses.
Keneco is responsible for a substantial and growing network of leasehold and freehold sites across Australia and New Zealand, together with a select commercial investment portfolio.
The Opportunity Keneco is looking for an accomplished Corporate Real Estate professional to play an significant role in shaping a growing property network (AU NZ), working closely with the team and reporting directly to the CEO.
This is a rare opportunity for a well-rounded corporate real estate professional to gravitate to their strength and passion of network-strategy, transactions and development.
The role will work closely with senior leadership across Keneco and Kennards Hire.
Beyond individual transactions, the role will help Keneco and Kennards Hire think ahead, using customer and market insight to guide how the network should grow, improve and optimise over the long term.
Key Responsibilities Contribute to and help shape network strategy, identifying sites and opportunities that support the continued growth of Kennards Hire across Australia and New Zealand Own and maintain the network's opportunity pipeline, using customer and market insight to help prioritise where the network should grow, improve or optimise Lead lease acquisitions, including site identification, market research,



negotiation and due diligence Manage freehold acquisitions from initial opportunity and feasibility through to negotiation, due diligence and settlement Oversee development management for new sites, including feasibility studies, design, planning approvals and delivery Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, contractors, consultants, councils and government authorities Prepare reports and recommendations for the CEO and Board on acquisitions (leasehold and freehold) We are looking for Significant experience across corporate real estate and property acquisitions Strong commercial and analytical thinking, with the ability to connect customer, market and financial insight into practical recommendations A track record of successfully negotiating leases and/or freehold property transactions Sound understanding of the development process, from feasibility through to practical completion Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and drive value across a portfolio Excellent negotiation, relationship building and stakeholder management skills High level written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to report to senior leadership Current driver's licence This is a genuinely broad, high impact role reporting to the CEO.
