Boarding Supervisor Commencement: 6th October **** Employment Type: Term-time, fixed-term until 27 November **** (up to 32 rostered hours available per school week) Availability: Applicants must be available to work adaptable shifts including weekends, overnight shifts and Friday evenings.

Mount St Bernard College - Herberton Mount St Bernard College is located at Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands.
Established in **** by the Sisters of Mercy as a day and boarding school, the College enjoys a proud history and a rich tradition.
The Sisters of Mercy began their educational ministry in the Herberton district over 100 years ago with the opening of St Patrick's Parish Catholic Primary School in ****.
Responding to the changing educational needs in Far North Queensland, the original Sisters of Mercy Boarding School, St Mary's Cooktown, was moved to Herberton in ****.
The Sisters of Mercy gifted the college to the Diocese of Cairns in February **** and it is now administered by Cairns Catholic Education Services.
The college has approximately 140 students, many of which are First Nations Students, with a combination of boarders and day students.
About the Role The Boarding Supervisor plays a key role in creating a safe, caring and supportive boarding environment where students are encouraged to thrive socially,



emotionally, spiritually and academically.
Through effective supervision, positive role modelling and collaboration with families and staff, the Boarding Supervisor supports students' wellbeing and development while contributing to the day-to-day operation of the boarding community.
The role also provides additional support and supervision for identified students, implementing approved support strategies and routines that promote safety, inclusion, engagement and independence within the boarding environment.
