In this role, you'll:
You will be a part of the Supply chain function within the Engineering and Maintenance team.
In this role, you'll play an essential role in providing essential, timely, and efficient support to our warehouse operations team through day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, invoices, shipments, and transactions.
You will be managing maintenance stock inventory for our crucial rolling stock maintenance, processing requests through SAP, and ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of supplies.
From managing stock records to coordinating logistics, your organisational skills will be the backbone of our operations.
As a Senior Warehouse Administrator, you will have a good understanding of the dispatching and receiving of orders and the ability to effectively support the Warehouse Operations.
You are responsible for the filing system for all logistic documentation and records for the team ensuring compliance with all record keeping requirements in SAP.




You would be liaising with internal and external stakeholders, communicating any delays on orders, risk assessment and contingency plans.
You would collaborate with warehouse staff and external partners to streamline processes.
You are a diligent and self driven professional and have good knowledge and practical administration experience within a Supply Chain / Warehousing office environment in a complex organisation.
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment and have a passion for rolling stock or heavy engineering.
Any experience in the maintenance space would be highly regarded.
In addition, you will demonstrate:
A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
Excellent attention to detail
Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
Ability to identify ways to improve internal processes
Excellent computer skills including SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook & the ability to learn recent systems quickly
