What you'll be doing
The Department of Psychological Medicine is a networked department with Sydney Children's Hospital and the Children's Hospital at Westmead and provides child and adolescent services to inpatients at the Sydney Children's Hospital Network, specialty clinics, including Safe Haven, outpatient clinics, OCD Bounce Clinic and Telemedicine and Outreach Services to NSW rural areas.
The Administrative Officer will be required to provide high level administrative support to the Medical Director, team leader for Safe Haven and multi-disciplinary clinicians and is required to have excellent work ethics, flexibility, initiative and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and competing demands, including the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
The position requires a professional demeanour, strong problem-solving ability, and exceptional organisational, written and verbal communication abilities.
The role involves exercising sound judgement, logical thinking, service excellence, and open communication.
Working with limited direction, the position is responsible for managing work priorities, exercising initiatives, and maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of work.
