About the Role
As a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing and commissioning specialised air-conditioning equipment across Brisbane.
You'll work across service call-outs, preventative maintenance and project installations, while also supporting customers through training on the functionality and operation of the equipment.
What You'll Be Doing
Attend service call-outs and repair faults
Carry out preventative maintenance works
Inspect project installations prior to commissioning
Commission air-conditioning equipment
Provide training on the functionality and operation of equipment
Ensure service calls, preventative maintenance and repair work are completed to the highest possible standard
Ensure sites are left clean and tidy following service, maintenance and repair work
Perform maintenance in accordance with operating and maintenance manuals
Ensure air-conditioning units are optimally commissioned and meet tender specifications
Ensure pre-commissioning check-sheets are fully completed prior to commissioning
Ensure project installations are completed efficiently and within the required timeframe and budget
Complete and process service and preventative maintenance reports promptly
Assist in maintaining sufficient spare parts stock levels
Communicate regularly with office staff to coordinate work
What You Bring
Certificate III – Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
Refrigerant Handling Licence / Refrigerant Licence (ARC Tick)
Current driver's licence
Minimum
5 years' industry experience
Experience with the
commissioning of computer room air-conditioning units
Restricted Electrical Licence
White Card
Working at Heights
Clear Police Check
Contractor / Supervisor Licence — desirable
Professional manner and presentation
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to accurately prioritise work
Ability to work successfully both
within a team and autonomously
Computer literacy, particularly
Microsoft Teams, Word and Outlook
