part-time veterinarian

Located on the mezzanine level of Petbarn, Greencross Hornsby is a bright, contemporary clinic space designed to support workflow, patient care, and a low-stress experience for both pets and their owners. The elevated position within the store gives the clinic a quieter, more private feel, while still benefiting from a strong connection to an engaged and loyal client base.
Being co-located within Petbarn also provides consistent foot traffic, strong preventative care engagement, and a steady flow of clients who value convenience and continuity of care.
Supportive, experienced leadership
You'll be working alongside an
experienced Veterinary Director
who provides consistent, approachable leadership and a genuine focus on mentorship. This is a clinic where questions are welcomed, support is available, and clinical development is encouraged.
The focus day-to-day is on explicit communication, sensible pacing, and ensuring the team can deliver high-quality care without unnecessary pressure.
The role

You will:
Manage general practice consults and case workups
Perform routine surgery (or continue developing surgical confidence with support)
Provide clear, compassionate communication to clients
Work collaboratively within a structured, supportive setting
