About the Role
Join Dentons' Risk & Compliance team in Sydney in this permanent position, where you'll have the chance to grow your career and make a genuine contribution to a global firm.
As a Contracts Analyst, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to manage client and supplier contracts. Your focus will be ensuring agreements align with Dentons' legal obligations, internal policies and regulatory requirements, helping to maintain compliance and minimise risk. Reporting to the Operational Risk Manager, you will join a collaborative and inclusive team that values excellence and supports professional growth.
About You
We're looking for a part-time or full-time Contracts Analyst with3+ years' experience in a legal, financial or professional services environment. You'll bring:
Proven experience in contract coordination or a similar role; or
Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience.
Excellent communication skills and experience working with various stakeholders.
High attention to detail and precision in capturing terms, obligations, and deliverables.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the onboarding of client and vendor/supplier contracts to ensure compliance with legal regulations and Dentons' policies
Document and track agreed terms and obligations
Collaborate with Corporate and Business Services teams to ensure contractual obligations are understood and met
Conduct due diligence on new vendors/suppliers in line with Dentons' Procurement Policy and Modern Slavery Act ****
Maintain and manage the Denton's client and vendor contract database
Assist with audits, policy updates, and compliance reporting
When required, provide guidance to stakeholders on contract-related matters
