What you'll be doing
As an Occupational Therapist Level 1/2,



you will provide high-quality Occupational Therapy services to consumers accessing Western Sydney Local Health District Mental Health Services. Working within a multidisciplinary setting, you will deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed and recovery-oriented interventions that support consumers to achieve greater independence, participation and community reintegration.
Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy and functional assessments to identify consumer goals and occupational performance needs
Deliver individual and group-based therapeutic interventions that promote recovery, independence and engagement in meaningful life roles
Collaborate with consumers, carers, families and multidisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate treatment plans and support continuity of care
Participate in clinical supervision, professional development, quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice activities
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, administrative records and service data in line with qualified and organisational standards

Qualification: Appropriate professional qualification in Occupational Therapy with current full registration under APHRA as a practising Occupational Therapy within NSW
Registration: General registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
Commitment to continuing professional education and participation in quality improvement, evidence based practice, and clinical supervision
Current unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence with a willingness use for work purpose
