Seeking a Diploma Qualified Educator

What you'll be doing in this role
n
Your Day-to-day Work May Include
n
n
Contributing to the development of programs that reflect the approved learning framework.
n
Developing positive and respectful relationships with children, families and the community.
n
Facilitating play-based learning environments that respond to children's interests, strengths and abilities.
n
Completing daily set-up and pack-up duties and maintaining a clean and welcoming learning environment.
n
Documenting children's learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes.
n
n
Who we're looking for
n
n
Diploma in Children's Services (essential), with previous experience working at a Diploma level in an early learning service.
n
A work history demonstrating experience recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting curriculum planning using the Early Years Learning Framework.
n
An understanding of the National Quality Standards.
n
A strong understanding of Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting requirements.
n
The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members.
n
Experience working with children with developmental delays and disabilities is desirable but not essential.
n
You'll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and able to live Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative and bold.
