Job Description
n
Contribute to the planning, analysis and concept design of traffic and transport solutions for road, active transport, and precinct projects
n
Lead transport feasibility studies, transport planning strategies, and traffic impact assessments
n
Provide trusted advice to clients such as transport agencies and private developers, including participation in workshops and presentations
n
Coordinate traffic and transport inputs into multi-disciplinary projects, working closely with road design, civil, planning and digital teams
n
Mentor junior traffic/transport engineers, helping them grow their technical capability and consulting skills
n
Contribute to bids, client relationship development and new service offerings, including digital tools and automation in transport engineering workflows
n

Requirements
n
n
Degree qualifications in civil / transport engineering or a related discipline
n
Significant experience in traffic engineering and transport planning, ideally gained on Australian or Current Zealand projects
n
Sound knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (e.g., Austroads, State government requirements, etc)
n
Demonstrated experience leading traffic inputs on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, including client-facing delivery
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
including report writing and the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly
n
Chartered status (CPEng) or equivalent, or a clear pathway towards it
n
