About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionateNurse Unit Manager (NUM)to join our dedicated aged care team and provide strong clinical leadership across our residential care service.
This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse who is ready to take the next step in their career and lead a team committed to delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
As Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for providing effective clinical leadership and overseeing the day-to-day delivery of care within the unit. You will work closely with residents, families, care staff, allied health professionals and management to ensure the highest standards of clinical care and resident wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to nursing and care staff.
Oversee the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
Monitor residents' clinical needs and ensure appropriate assessment, care planning and review.
Support medication management, wound care, clinical assessments and other nursing requirements.
Lead and support staff performance, education, mentoring and professional development.
Ensure compliance with relevant aged care legislation, clinical standards, policies and procedures.
What we're looking for
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.




Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Previous experience in residential aged care.
Demonstrated clinical leadership and team management experience.
Solid understanding of contemporary aged care practice and clinical governance.
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families and multidisciplinary teams.
