Located in South Bowenfels, the Lithgow Campus is considered as a comprehensive community health centre supporting approximately 20,000 people living in the town and surrounding areas.
The services available in Lithgow hospital include Domiciliary care unit, Emergency department, Geriatric assessment unit, Obstetric services, Paediatric service, Drug and Alcohol unit.
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team and help contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
In this role, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment, providing clinical expertise, emotional support, and person‐centred care to patients and their families.
You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, monitoring clinical progress, and ensuring that all care aligns with best practice and organisational standards.

What you will bring to the role
Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA.
Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in nursing as a Registered Nurse including completion of a new graduate Registered Nurse program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse.
Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
Ability to work effectively within a multi‐disciplinary team.
Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
