The Manager - WAVES, Systems is responsible for leading the development, implementation and delivery of effective systems for the hazard of work-related aggression and violence.
The incumbent will be responsible for a agile, responsive and cross-functional team, who will provide advice, project management and stakeholder engagement to enable the achievement of strategic objectives.

About the Role
Working within the WAVES (Work-related Aggression and Violence Employee Supports) branch, the Manager, WAVES - Systems leads development, implementation and delivery of systems for the hazard of work-related aggression and violence.
Attributes
Leading a small team of senior advisors and working closely with the other WAVES branch functions, the Manager will have the following skills and experience:
experience in leadership and management including Performance and Development Plans (PDPs), recruitment, work planning
the ability to lead development and implementation of strategic, legislative, policy and service delivery reform to improve the health, safety and wellbeing of employees
an understanding and experience in legislative processes, cabinet submissions and other public service workflows
high level project management skills to plan and deliver projects, identify risks, establish governance, monitor and evaluate performance and ensure continuous improvement
high level stakeholder management skills including the ability to consult,
negotiate and influence key stakeholders and provide advice to school leadership, regional and central teams
the ability to interpret work-related violence data, provide clear instructions to a data analyst and brief up to executives on options informed by data and evidence.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Experience in designing and/or delivering OHS or similar systems in schools is a prerequisite for this role.
