This role exposes you to a variety of interesting programs and projects, partnerships and touchpoints across the Ministry of Health. You will engage and collaborate with external stakeholders including clinicians, service providers, people with lived and living experience and peak bodies to support program delivery models.

The Clinical Governance and Systems team is part of the Clinical Policy, Quality and Safety directorate, leading the development of state‐wide policies, guidelines and systems to support the delivery of AOD clinical services and programs.



The team supports the quality and safety of existing programs and works to integrate current programs and models of care, aligning with NSW Health priorities, including the Future Health Strategy.
What you'll be doing
Provide secretariat support for key stakeholder meetings and manage communication with stakeholder groups.
Review, interpret and prepare written advice and briefs pertaining to guidelines, policies and legislation.
Draft responses, reports and other written material to support program areas within the Clinical Governance and Systems portfolio.
Provide contract support to ensure quality sector partnership outcomes.
Work with teams across the Centre for Alcohol and Other Drugs to support clinical governance activities for programs and services.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
Experience in policy or project work in a health context
Strong communication skills, adaptable to a variety of stakeholders
Good organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities and projects
Experience in alcohol and other drugs services or policy, or related sectors (desirable)
Collaborative approaches and a positive team player.
