The Orthopaedics and Trauma Unit at Liverpool Hospital delivers specialised, high-acuity care for complex musculoskeletal injuries, combining advanced surgical practice with a strong multidisciplinary focus to support optimal patient recovery.

Selection Criteria

Do you have current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)?
Provide an example of an orthopaedic or trauma related clinical emergency and describe the escalation pathways?
Describe how you would de-escalate and manage patient aggression?
Patient risk assessments are important for maintaining patient safety. Describe what you think are the highest risks for orthopaedic/ trauma patients and how you could mitigate those risks as a clinician?
