The role of Recreational Officer is to design, implement and evaluate a variety of recreational, diversional and social activities to improve or maintain the physical and mental function of the residents.

Nursing in the rural clinical setting sees nurses expand their knowledge and skills and be ready to deliver care to a wide range of acute, chronic and emergency presentations.
