This opportunity offers:
Temporary employment for a period up to 30 June ****
Two full time roles available & 35 hour working week
RFS Level 8/9
Attractive annual salary $118,562 - $131,233p.a. plus 12% superannuation
Location: Sydney Olympic Park (flexible working arrangements considered)
What you'll be doing
As a Project Officer within the Red Fleet Reform Program, you will contribute to one of the NSW Rural Fire Service's most significant organisational reform initiatives. Working closely with the program team, you will support the coordination and delivery of program activities, helping to maintain project plans, monitor milestones and deliverables, prepare reporting and governance materials, and ensure accurate and accessible program information is available to stakeholders.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a complex enterprise-wide transition, supporting a range of workstreams focused on governance, fleet operations, workforce readiness, infrastructure, technology, finance, legal and stakeholder engagement. You will play an important role in enabling informed decision‐making, supporting program governance and reporting processes, and helping ensure the successful delivery of a reform program that will strengthen fleet accountability, operational readiness and future service capability across New South Wales.
Our ideal candidate:
Experience in enterprise reform project support within a large-scale program, transformation initiative or complex business environment.
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports, briefs, presentations and stakeholder communications.
A structured and detail-oriented approach to managing project documentation, tracking progress,



and monitoring risks, issues and dependencies.
Proven ability to build effective working relationships and coordinate activities across diverse stakeholder groups.
An interest in supporting a major enterprise reform program that will deliver long‐term operational and organisational benefits across NSW.
