It is a salary Grade *****, with the base salary for this role starting at$154,231-$178,369base plus superannuation,commensuratewith experience.

About the Role
We areseekinga highly skilled and energetic individual to join us as the Associate Director, Strategy, Planning and Innovationworking in thedata centres and energy workstreams.
In this role, you will play a crucial partinsupporting robust infrastructure investment decision-making, the implementation of complex infrastructure policy reforms, managing government and industry stakeholders,andprovidingtimelyand strategichigh-quality advice.
The role involves working closely with industry, utilities, and government stakeholders, in a complex environment with competing priorities that cut across infrastructure sectors, including energy, waterandtelecommunications.
It also involves supporting otherinfrastructure priority workstreamsasrequired, such as decarbonisation.
Some of the key accountabilities for the role include:
Plan, manage andmonitorthe implementation of a range of infrastructure policy initiatives using a variety of project management and collaboration tools to ensure milestones are met and outcomes and expectations are achieved.
Develop andmaintaineffective working relationships with key stakeholders to allow the gathering of information and analysis, and influence policy outcomes.




Identifyrisks and opportunities related to initiatives and projects to inform key stakeholders in their decision-making and advise on options to resolve problems such that issues are minimised and planned for, and that beneficial opportunities are realised.
Communicate effectively and with brevity with senior executives across the sector and provide clear,accurateandtimelywritten and verbal advice on wide-ranging issues.
Maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders within and outside Infrastructure NSW, and lead and provide guidance to junior team members to deliver a rage of initiatives in consultation with senior executives.
About You
Our ideal candidate brings extensive experience in policy analysis, with the ability to evaluate complex economic,financialand social issuesimpactinginfrastructure. Theypossesstertiary qualificationsin a relevant discipline or equivalentexperience andhave a strongtrack recordof building and managing effective stakeholder relationships across diverse groups.
