Rapid Access Medical Service (RAMS)
An exciting opportunity exists to join a dedicated team of specialists committed to delivering high-quality clinical care across the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service. The Rapid Access Medical Service (RAMS)



provides prompt assessment and treatment for patients requiring escalation of care, offering a direct alternative to Emergency Department attendance and supporting early intervention to prevent further clinical deterioration.
About your new role
In your new role you will......Demonstrate sustained meritorious achievement in clinical excellence while making a significant contribution to fostering and promoting high standards in the delivery of public health services.Maintain and expand your expertise in adult medicine through a strong personal commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.As a Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service employee, not only will you receive a competitive base salary (total remuneration):
Salary up to $282,912 per annum full time (L18 - L27)
Remuneration up to $489,067 per annum full time (L18 - L27)
Generous superannuation
Professional development leave (3.6 weeks p.a. pro rata)
