CSL Seqirus is hiring for anMechanical Technician/Fitter at our recent state of the art facility in Tullamarine, Melbourne. This world class 28,400 square metre facility includes clean-rooms, office and manufacturing space to support the production of influenza vaccines and critical antivenoms for Australia and other markets.
n
You will manage fault correction, preventative maintenance, and overhaul of manufacturing equipment.
n
Work a rotating 12-hour roster (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am), covering both day and night shifts to support our 24/7 operations.
n
Overtime, shift loadings, and allowances are paid in accordance with our EBA.
n
Responsibilities:
n
n
Under general supervision, provides technical support for validation and maintenance of production equipment, utilities and systems
n




Monitors quality and system standards to ensure reliability and compliance with company standards and governmental regulatory requirements
n
Verifies calibration, maintenance and repair of the instruments
n
Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards
n
Assists with documentation for validation procedures and technical reports related to systems, products and/or processes
n
n
Experience and Qualifications:
n
n
Must hold a Trade Qualification (Cert III or Cert IV) as a Mechanical Fitter
n
Pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience preferred
n
Fault-finding and problem-solving skills
n
3-5 years' relevant experience
n
Computer literacy – knowledge of SAP or another CMMS system
n
