Your opportunity
As an Injury Management Specialist, you'll lead ECH's workplace injury management and claim's function, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, self-insurance performance standards and organisational policies.
Working closely with employees, leaders, treating practitioners and external stakeholders, you'll coordinate effective injury management and return to work programs that support sustainable recovery outcomes and employee wellbeing.
You'll provide specialist advice, manage complex claims, influence injury prevention initiatives and drive continuous improvement across injury management, safety and wellbeing practices.
You'll make an impact by
Leading the end-to-end management of workplace injuries and complex workers compensation claims, ensuring compliant and effective case management.
Developing,
implementing and monitoring tailored recovery and return to work plans that achieve safe and sustainable outcomes for employees.
Providing expert advice and guidance to leaders and employees on injury management, rehabilitation and legislative obligations
Building strong relationships with treating practitioners, insurers, regulators and internal stakeholders to support coordinated recovery outcomes.
Using data, compliance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance injury management performance and organisational outcomes
What you'll bring
Extensive experience in injury management, workers compensation and return to work coordination, including complex case management.
Strong knowledge of the Return to Work Act **** (SA), injury management principles and employer obligations.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective recovery and return to work strategies that deliver sustainable outcomes.
Highly developed stakeholder engagement, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Strong analytical, governance and compliance capabilities, with experience managing sensitive information and legislative requirements.
We would also love you to bring the following skills:
Formal qualifications in Injury Management, Work Health & Safety, Allied Health or a related discipline
Return to Work Coordinator accreditation and experience within a self-insured or complex employer environment.
Experience working within aged care, healthcare or community services.
