About the role
Join Barwon Health's dynamic Newcomb Primary Care team as a Grade 2 Physiotherapist and deliver evidence-based, goal-centred care to consumers across a diverse community setting. You'll work within a high-performing multidisciplinary team supporting people with a range of needs, from early intervention through to chronic and complex care.
This is a great chance to contribute to a varied physiotherapy service, including individual consultations, group programs such as GLAD and Balance, AHA-led programs and access to aquatic physiotherapy. You'll also have opportunities to support students and junior staff, contribute to peer-directed learning, and get involved in the several quality improvement, research and service innovation projects currently underway with our team.
Key responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessment, intervention and care within a community setting.
Independently manage a clinical caseload and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Provide clinical supervision, teaching and support to junior staff and students.
Contribute to quality improvement, service development and innovative approaches to community care.
What we're looking for
A degree in Physiotherapy from an Australian Physiotherapy Council accredited course.
Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Clinical knowledge and experience relevant to the designated clinical area.
Strong communication, organisation and prioritisation skills, with a commitment to consumer-centred care.
A collaborative approach and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
Experience in a community health setting is desirable.
