About the Role
The Cross River Rail Delivery Authority is building a new 10.2km rail line that includes 5.9km of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD; with four new underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street and Roma Street.Once complete, it will provide trains with a much-needed alternative rail path through the core of the current SEQ Rail network, unlocking a bottleneck and allowing more trains to run more often across the whole of South East Queensland.The Cross River Rail Delivery Authority is also delivering multiple supporting projects and activities in conjunction with the Department of Transport and Main Roads. These include accessibility rebuilds for eight surface stations, construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast; upgrades for stabling yards; track works and surface rail enhancements; and the introduction of a new ETCS digital signalling system.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the Program Risk Register and coordinate associated governance activitiesFacilitate regular risk register reviews with Directors, Project Directors and risk owners to ensure risk information remains current, accurate and aligned with program prioritiesMonitor the program risk profile and support the identification, escalation and reporting of emerging risks, issues, and trendsProvide governance and secretariat support for the Risk Leadership Group, including coordinating agendas, papers, meeting preparation, minutes, actions and reporting outputsReview and challenge risk descriptions, ratings, controls, treatments, actions, ownership and supporting evidence to improve consistency and governance outcomesPrepare governance reports, executive briefings, presentations,
and governance papers and to support informed decision makingProvide risk governance advice and support to Project Directors, risk owners and other key stakeholdersFacilitate risk workshops, reviews and strategy sessionsMaintain the integrity and administration of risk systems and registers, including Active Risk Manager (ARM)Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk governance processes, tools, templates, reporting products and organisational capability
About You
Experience supporting project or program risk management, including risk registers, assessments, treatments, escalation and reportingStrong governance, administration and coordination skills, with experience supporting senior forums and tracking actions through to completionAnalytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review, interpret and challenge risk informationClear written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing briefings, governance papers, reports and management commentaryStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholdersAbility to work independently, manage changing priorities and deliver accurate work within deadlinesExperience improving governance processes, tools, templates and reporting productsIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, with experience using Active Risk Manager, Power BI, SharePoint or similar systems highly regarded
