As a Project Officer Assessment, you will play an important role in supporting the administration and assessment of mining, exploration and development tenure applications across Queensland. Working within the Coal Assessment Hub, you will contribute to the timely and accurate delivery of tenure assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and departmental procedures.
In this role, you will work closely with industry representatives, tenure holders, government agencies and internal stakeholders to facilitate the progression of tenure applications and provide high-quality administrative and operational support.
Your day-to-day work will involve conducting research, preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining accurate records and information systems, and assisting in the continuous improvement of business processes and customer service.
