Job Description
n

Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis and performance reporting to support business decision-making.
n
Assist with month-end close processes including journals, accruals, reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
n
Analyse customer, contract and service line profitability, providing insights to improve margins and operational performance
n
Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting across the business.
n
Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to understand performance drivers and identify improvement opportunities.
n
Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards and reporting tools to support strategic and operational decisions.
n
Monitor key financial and operational metrics, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for management.
n
Contribute to pricing, tender and business case analysis for new and existing customer opportunities.
n
Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems, reporting processes and data quality, leveraging technology and AI where appropriate.

The Successful Applicant

Tertiary qualification in Accounting & Finance
n
CA/CPA qualification
n
Strong technical accounting fundamentals
n




A compelling ability to influence and build rapport with non finance stakeholders, and to challenge the status quo/process improve
n
A lively, social personality
n
A genuine thirst to learn, work hard and grow within the business as it scales
n
Strong excel skill - V lookups and pivots alone won't cut it here
n
A proactive approach to 'getting ahead' with embedding AI functionality in finance and leveraging the likes of Claude to automate repetitive grunt work
