Help build family violence skills across justice and community services.
You will design and deliver practical training that supports safer responses.
You will work across Victoria and help shape workforce capability.
Your expertise will help workers respond to family violence with confidence.
Fixed-term (until 30/06/2027), full time role earning $116,413 - $128,631 per year, plus super.
What you will do
As Learning and Capability Consultant - Family Violence, you will build family violence skills across the department.
You will design and deliver training that meets the needs of different workforces.
You will:
deliver
practical
MARAM training at foundational, identification and intermediate levels
create
transparent




learning resources that help people apply key concepts at work
provide
expert
advice on family violence, MARAM and information sharing reforms
use
trauma-informed
practice to create safe and inclusive learning spaces
review feedback and update training to support
ongoing
learning and better practice.
About you
You need a relevant tertiary qualification in social work, criminology, psychology or a related field. Significant professional experience may be accepted instead. A Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment is highly desirable. You also need a current driver's licence and must be able to travel.
You bring strong family violence knowledge and can teach complex topics to adult learners.
You should also have:
strong MARAM knowledge
and the ability to deliver practical training that builds lasting skills
family violence expertise
and direct experience with victim survivors and/or perpetrators
training experience
and the ability to create clear resources for different groups
clear communication
skills and the confidence to handle sensitive topics and questions.
