Drive innovation and transformation across the end-to-end research lifecycle, enhancing operational effectiveness and the experience of researchers and support staff.

Influence executive decision-making by translating organisational insights into clear strategies, priorities and actions that deliver measurable outcomes.

Lead cross-University collaboration and capability uplift, aligning priorities, removing delivery barriers and fostering high-performing teams and strategic partnerships.

About The Candidate
n
Comfortable navigating ambiguity, you'll have the opportunity to shape the journey rather than simply follow a roadmap. This role sits within Digital's Systems & Solutions portfolio and will draw heavily on your experience in research and/or higher education. Success will come from combining that domain knowledge with a strong digital services mindset, helping to bring together a diverse ecosystem of platforms, services and stakeholders into a more cohesive and strategically aligned service offering for the research community. You will be passionate about strengthening governance, clarifying ownership, and realising greater value from a diverse and distributed capability landscape. You'll lead and grow a team of three, building capability and delivering meaningful change across the organisation.

* Postgraduate qualifications supported by extensive relevant professional experience.

Senior leadership experience managing major functions, portfolios and strategic initiatives.
n
Strong strategic thinking and decision-making with the ability to navigate complex environments.
n
Executive-level influence and stakeholder engagement, with a proven ability to shape organisational outcomes.

Expertise in governance, risk and performance management, with a strong understanding of policy and organisational context.
