Business Development Manager - Commercial Waste & Recycling

$85,000 – $120,000pa+ Super, Car Allow & Fuel Card

This is a genuine new-business sales role for a Business Development Manager in the commercial waste and recycling sector. You'll identify opportunities, get in front of prospective customers and convert those opportunities into long-term commercial relationships.

The role
n
You'll take responsibility for developing new business across metropolitan Adelaide, targeting commercial and industrial customers that can benefit from better waste and recycling solutions.

Prospecting and building your own sales pipeline
n
Identifying and developing new business opportunities
n
Meeting prospective customers and understanding their requirements
n
Preparing proposals, negotiating and closing recent business
n
Building relationships with key decision-makers
n
Managing your pipeline and consistently achieving sales targets
n
Working with our operations team to ensure new customers are successfully onboarded
n

About you
n
We're looking for someone who knows how to sell.
n




You'll ideally have experience in waste management, environmental services, transport, facilities services or another B2B service industry. Direct waste-industry experience is an advantage, but a proven ability to prospect and win new B2B customers is more important.

You'll be confident generating your own leads, comfortable approaching new customers, commercially minded and motivated by achieving results.
n
You'll have the backing of an established local business, a broad range of services to sell and an experienced operations team to support you.
n
Most importantly, you'll have the autonomy to develop your own territory and a commission structure that genuinely rewards performance. There is no cap on what a successful salesperson can earn.
