We are looking for an experienced and passionate Conference & Events Assistant Manager to support our Conference & Events Operations Manager and help lead the delivery of outstanding events and food & beverage experiences throughout the hotel.Job DescriptionAs Conference & Events Assistant Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the day-to-day operation of our Conference & Events department while supporting the wider Food & Beverage team as required.Support the Conference & Events Operations Manager in the daily leadership and coordination of conference, banquet and event operationsLead event service teams to deliver exceptional experiences across meetings, conferences, weddings, social events and gala functionsEnsure events are executed seamlessly, with a strong focus on service standards, timing and attention to detailAct as a hands-on leader, providing guidance,



support and coaching to team members throughout serviceAssist with team rostering, training, performance management and developmentBuild strong relationships with clients, guests and internal stakeholders to ensure successful event deliveryConduct event briefings and ensure all operational details are communicated clearly to the teamMonitor service delivery and proactively resolve issues to ensure an exceptional guest experienceSupport food and beverage operations across the hotel, including restaurant, bar and in-room dining outlets as requiredAssist in maintaining labour, productivity and operational targetsUphold all food safety, workplace health and safety, and responsible service requirementsFoster a positive, collaborative and high-performing team cultureQualificationsPrevious leadership experience within Conference & Events, Banquets, Food & Beverage or hotel operationsStrong operational knowledge across conference, events and food & beverage environmentsA passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiencesProven ability to lead,
