Sound knowledge of public transport, local attractions, restaurants & events in Melbourne are essential elements of the role.
Duties
Assisting in leading and mentoring the team
Delegation of tasks to the team ensuring all guests needs are met
Handling guest queries and resolving them
Delivering guests luggage and collecting guest luggage on check out
Providing information on all facilities within the hotel
Valet parking of guest cars (both Automatic and Manual)
Provide support to the reception team during peak periods to ensure smooth front office operations




Follow up on guest requests and special arrangements as directed by department leaders, ensuring completion to a high standard
Build and maintain strong relationships with travel partners, tour operators, and local providers to promote memorable guest experiences and day trips
Proactively contribute to a collaborative team environment and assist across departments when required
Skills & Experience
A minimum of 1-2 years experience in a hotel environment
A real passion for delivering position outcomes
Sound knowledge of Melbourne
Communication and time management skills
Exceptional eye for detail and a positive attitude
Previous Opera knowledge will be highly regarded
Valid Manual Drivers License is a must
