We're looking for a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Assistant to join our South Melbourne store on a casual basis, working weekday shifts that are available between Monday to Friday.
If you enjoy helping customers and working as part of a team, this could be the perfect prospect for you.
What You'll Be Doing As a Retail Sales Assistant, you'll play an important role in creating a positive customer experience while helping the store run smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming customers and delivering outstanding service
Building product knowledge and helping customers find the right solution
Processing sales and operating the point-of-sale system
Answering customer enquiries via phone and email
Preparing quotes and processing orders
Maintaining store presentation and merchandising displays
Receiving and replenishing stock deliveries
Assisting with inventory and database updates
Supporting day-to-day store operations

What We're Looking ForWe're seeking someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine passion for customer service.
You'll bring:
Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally retail
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence using POS systems or inventory management systems
A proactive approach and willingness to take initiative
The ability to work collaboratively within a team
Hospitality, kitchen equipment or technical product knowledge is advantageous but not essential
